Once upon a time (not that long ago, mind you, or very far away, for that matter), I was a ballerina growing up believing in unicorns and watching Kung Fu flicks (Bruce Lee remains my hero to this day). I will forever heart the 80’s and I’m happy (nor surprised) to see it’s made a stylish revival.
Then one day, without really planning on it, I morphed into a computer networking nerd. While it paid the bills just fine, I saw that it would never become my true calling. So I tinkered a bit: here and there, some of this and a little of that…and then one day I picked up my fathers old Olympus camera and the rest is history.
I’ve been shooting now for more than ten years and have explored all types of photography. When my business began, I was focused mainly on weddings and portrait photography. Over the years, I have shot everything from pets, maternity, newborn, children, family, headshots and some nature photos too. Though I enjoyed all these subjects there was always one that I felt was more me. But why?
Quite simply, I adore, adore, adore doing high school senior portrait photography. I love the adventurous spirit of my young clients, each truly unique and with their own ambitions. Of course, I also love the hair, the makeup, the clothes, and let’s not forget all the accessories. It satisfies all my professional cravings – just like having them rolled up into that huge September issue of Vogue. I specialize in high school senior portrait photography, which means you are getting a photographer who appreciates all the amazing aspects of this incredible time in your life and who knows the nuances of capturing the true you.
